Protecting Your Account – Impersonation & Safety Guide (Avatar: Realms Collide)
Important: Protect your account and personal information! Recently, we’ve received reports of suspicious activity in-game and on social platforms involving impersonators and scammers. This guide will help you identify scams and stay safe.
Type 1: Fake Social Media Accounts (Impersonators)
- Scammers create fake accounts on Facebook, Instagram, Discord, X/Twitter, or YouTube that pretend to be official Avatar Legends: Realms Collide pages or staff.
- They may also pretend to be “players” and invite you to a “fresh 4x strategy game” with fake promises.
- These accounts typically claim to offer rewards, giveaways, or “exclusive access.”

- We do NOT run “reward distribution accounts,” “benefits pages,” or “gift teams.”
- Any account claiming this is NOT official.

| Fake Giveaways / “Free Gems” Offers | Messages like “click for free rewards/gems”: Almost always a scam. |

Many suspicious bot accounts on Discord send repeated invites (DMs) for "new games," offering “discount codes" or “exclusive rewards.” These are simply to pull you away and can be malicious.

- Never accept invitations from unknown senders.
- Never click suspicious links from DMs.
- Report and block suspicious accounts immediately.
Type 2: In-Game Scammers (Account Theft & Blackmail)
- Some scammers operate inside the game, using alliances, DMs, and social engineering to steal your account or push you to other platforms (bypassing moderation).

- Any form of account credentials
- Links to your private social accounts
Do NOT Share Private Information
To protect your account and your safety, never share private or sensitive information with anyone in-game or on social platforms—even if they seem friendly or claim to be staff.
- Your real name
- Your home address or location
- Your phone number or email address
- Your IP, school, or workplace
- Private screenshots or identification
- Private social profiles (Discord, Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, etc.)
Important: Do NOT add strangers on Discord or other social platforms, even if they claim to be helpful or offer in-game benefits.
Special Reminder for Minors (Underage Players)
⚠ For players under 18 (or parents/guardians):
- Do not accept friend requests from strangers.
- Do not move conversations to private apps with people you don’t know.
- Do not share any personal details.
- Report suspicious users immediately.

How to Protect Your Account
- Never share your password or verification codes with anyone, including “support.”
- Don’t click suspicious links from DMs or comments.
- Only use official channels for support and announcements.
- Bind/link your account and keep your recovery info updated.
- Don’t log into third-party websites!

- Do not engage (do not reply, click, or negotiate).
- Take screenshots of the message or account.
- Report the user/account in-game or via the platform.
- Contact our official support team immediately.
